Reclaiming Your Energy Before Fall: A Sacred Pivot Back to You

As summer winds down and the rhythms of life begin to shift once again, school routines, earlier mornings, packed calendars, it’s easy to feel like you’re being pulled in a thousand directions.

But what if this moment wasn’t just about getting “back to school” or “back to routine”?

What if this was your sacred opportunity to get back to you?

Pause Before You Plunge

Before you dive headfirst into the next season of doing, I invite you to pause. Breathe. Reflect.

Ask yourself:

Where am I giving my energy away right now?

What do I want to carry forward into fall?

What is it time to leave behind?

So often, we give our time and energy to people, places, and patterns that drain us, not because we want to, but because we forget to check in with ourselves. We forget to ask what we want. We forget to notice what’s aligned.

But this season invites a pivot from pleasing others to honoring yourself.

Call Your Energy Back

Now is the time to lovingly gather the pieces of yourself that you’ve scattered over the summer.

Call your energy back from:

Old obligations that no longer fit

People who only take and never give

Thoughts that keep you stuck in doubt or fear

You deserve to use your precious energy to create a life you love, a life filled with joy, intention, and alignment.

Say it out loud if you need to:
I call all my energy back to me. I use it to create the life I love.”

Put Yourself on the List

This isn’t selfish, it’s sacred.
It’s time to choose you.
It’s time for all of us to choose ourselves.

When you put yourself on the list, truly, intentionally, you begin to fill your own cup. And from that place of fullness, you’re able to pour love, grace, and compassion into the lives of others. Not from depletion, but from overflow.

Let that be your new normal:
Not giving from your cup, but from the overflow.

Where in my life have I forgotten myself and how can I lovingly return to me?

Take a few moments to journal your thoughts.

When we change the world changes.
