2025: A Year I Lived Fully
When I look back on 2025, I don’t see a calendar of events—I feel moments. I feel movement. I feel love woven through airports, retreat rooms, hospital visits, campfires, and quiet mornings where life asked me to show up with presence instead of plans.
This was a year of going where I was called and staying where I was needed.

The Year Began with an Opening
January took me to Phoenix, and with it came that familiar feeling I’ve learned to trust, the sense that something was unfolding. There was no urgency, just an invitation. A soft nudge that said, pay attention… this year matters.
February: Where Work, Family, and Service Met
February carried me to Cancun, where I spoke at a retreat—but this time, I didn’t go alone. My granddaughter attended with me. My daughter and cousin came too, sharing space where my work and my heart met in the same room. That trip will forever live in my body as joy.
That same month, I volunteered at Night to Shine, an experience that never fails to remind me what unconditional love looks like in human form. It grounded me. It humbled me. It filled me.
Spring: Movement, Mountains, and Meaning
April brought Tahoe, with space to breathe, to remember myself, to let the mountains steady me. I got some one-on-one time with my brother Paul…probably the most one on one time we’ve ever had. It was great! And got to see my cousin Chellee and her family!
May arrived with momentum. I hosted a retreat in Rocheport, holding sacred space for others while continuing to learn how to hold it for myself. I traveled through Phoenix and the canyons of Arizona, letting the land speak its ancient wisdom. And by the end of the month, I found myself presenting in Colorado, once again saying yes to being visible, to sharing what has been lived—not just learned.

June: Joy and the Reminder of What Matters
June held both celebration and fear.
We gathered for a Cardinals game, laughter echoing through the stands, until life reminded us how fragile it can be. My grandson Payton was in a wreck, and suddenly everything narrowed to what mattered most. Gratitude took on a deeper meaning. So did presence.
Summer: Slowing Down and Letting Life In
July brought Echo Bluffs camping, nature, and the kind of rest that doesn’t come from sleep, but from simplicity.
August returned me to Mexico to present at another retreat. Each time I step into these spaces, I’m reminded that this work is alive, it evolves, it stretches me, and it continues to ask me to trust myself fully.
September: Family Comes First
September took us to Michigan, the only state that my Aunt Dot hadn’t been to. It was a blessing to experience the beauty of Michigan with her. Soon after, my brother came to stay with us following a hospital stay. This season wasn’t loud. It was tender. It asked for patience, compassion, and quiet strength. Sometimes the most sacred work doesn’t happen on a stage, it happens at home.
October: Celebration and Sacred Ground
October unfolded in layers. Nearly two weeks in Phoenix and Sedona. Attending a retreat with red rocks, and reflection. I also had the honor of celebrating the book launch of my dear friend Brandi. Watching someone you love step into their truth and share it with the world is its own kind of medicine.
November: Coming Home to Family
By November, the year gently guided me inward. Thanksgiving was wrapped in family—long conversations, shared meals, and laughter, especially over my flaming green bean casserole! There was nothing to prove. Only love to receive.
December: Recognition and Reflection
December closed the year with a quiet but meaningful honor, I was named the Ambassador for the Elev8 Community I’m part of. I am honored to grow, learn, and lead in this soul centered group.

The Work That Wove Through It All
Behind the scenes of every month, life continued in steady devotion:
I volunteered at Caring Hearts and Hands Hospice House, sat in the discomfort and beauty of being present at the end of life, and let it shape me.
I attended a mastermind, led weekly online classes in Elev8 Your Life community, offered local workshops, held Reiki/sound bowl healing sessions and healing sessions, and began an apprenticeship with my mentor, saying yes to being a lifelong student of this work.
And maybe the most momentous act of this year is hanging up my scissors and blow dryer after 45 years behind the chair. Stay tuned for more on that.
What This Year Taught Me
2025 taught me that a meaningful life isn’t built by doing more, it’s built by being where you are, fully. By saying yes when your soul calls and staying when love asks you to.
This was a year of service, expansion, family, healing, and remembrance. A year I didn’t rush through. A year I lived. A year that went by in a flash and at the same time seemed to last for 3 lifetimes, can you relate?
And I step forward grateful for every mile traveled, every hand held, every lesson received, and every moment that reminded me who I am.

On Monday, January 5th from 6–8 PM at Catalpa Wellness, we will gather for a powerful New Year Alignment Workshop designed to help you:
