Why is it that we take the time to get to know other people in our lives, but resist getting to know ourselves?

It is my nature to move from one thing to the next without taking time to celebrate and sit in the gratitude for the gifts.

Rejection of myself is at the core of the pain I held from denying what I desired.

Today let’s dig into how perfectionism plays into the rejection wound.

When we feel rejected, we reject ourselves before anyone else can. We put up a wall or run away.

Doing our best will help us have awareness and show us how we can do things differently.

So why do we automatically take offense and think it’s about us when someone acts poorly towards us?
