The Energy I Contribute to the World
There is something I’ve been thinking about lately.
Not the big things we usually measure our lives by, accomplishments, goals, milestones, or achievements, but something quieter and much more powerful.
What am I contributing to the world?
Every day, whether we realize it or not, we are contributing something to the collective. Not just through what we do, but through who we are being.
Our thoughts carry energy.
Our words carry energy.
Our presence carries energy.
Our action carries energy.
And that energy ripples outward in ways we will likely never fully see.
A moment of kindness can soften someone’s day.
A moment of patience can calm tension.
A moment of presence can make someone feel truly seen.
But the opposite can ripple outward too. Frustration, judgment, fear, and resistance also travel through our interactions and into the collective.
This isn’t about guilt or perfection. It’s about awareness.
When we begin to notice the energy we are bringing into the world, something powerful happens.
We realize we have a choice. We realize how powerful we are when we can’t be controlled into reacting and instead choose to respond with steady presence.
Am I contributing more chaos or peace?
Am I adding judgment or understanding?
Am I feeding fear or remembering love?
Each of us is part of the energetic ecosystem of this world. Every conversation, every reaction, every thought we nurture contributes something to the greater whole.
The collective energy of humanity isn’t created somewhere far away by a few powerful people.
It’s created by all of us, in ordinary moments throughout the day.
In how we speak to the cashier.
In how we respond to our family.
In how we speak to ourselves when we make a mistake.
Energy moves outward from us in ripples.
A small moment of compassion may shift someone’s entire day.
That person may then bring that softness into their home.
And that ripple continues outward in ways we may never see.
This is the quiet power we carry.
Not the power to control the world, but the power to contribute to it consciously.
And the beautiful thing is that when we begin to live with that awareness, something changes inside of us.
We slow down.
We pause before reacting.
We become curious about our thoughts and the emotions moving through us.
We begin to ask ourselves a powerful question:
What energy am I bringing into the world right now?
Because the energy we carry becomes the energy we share.
Introducing Sacred Ripples
This reflection is exactly why I am beginning something new.
Starting this week, I will be sharing a weekly short, guided journaling meditation called Sacred Ripples.
Each session will be just a few minutes long, a gentle pause in the day where we take a breath, connect inward, and explore a few deep journaling prompts together.
These reflections will be centered on one simple truth:
The energy we bring into the world matters.
Through a short meditation and a few heart-centered prompts, we will explore questions like:
What energy am I carrying today?
How do my thoughts shape my experience of the world?
What ripple do I want to create through my words, my presence, and my actions?
These sessions are not about fixing yourself.
They are about remembering who you are.
Because when we reconnect with our inner awareness, our natural essence begins to lead again and that essence is love, compassion, and presence.
One person becoming aware of their energy creates a ripple.
Many people becoming aware of their energy creates a movement.
Each week we will take just a few minutes together to pause, breathe, and listen inward.
A small moment of reflection.
A quiet shift in awareness.
A sacred ripple.
And those ripples travel farther than we will ever know.
Sacred Ripples begins this week.
I invite you to pause with me, pick up your journal, and explore the energy you are bringing into the world.
Because when we change the energy within us,
we change the ripple we create.

Even if you didn’t attend the first class, you are warmly welcome to join at any time. Journals will be available to purchase, so you can start fresh whenever it feels right.
All classes are held from 6:00–8:00 pm at Catalpa Wellness
